The veteran was brought in as a consultant on the actor's World War Two film.
Having one of the most recognizable - and good-looking - faces in Hollywood, most people would know Brad Pitt if he walked past them in the street.
But not one war veteran who was sought out by the actor to assist on his new film, and admitted he didnt have a clue who he was! Hardly surprising though, seeing as Mr Peter Comfort is 90-years-old, but then again, he still knows how to use the internet!
